This beautiful unspoilt part of Herefordshire is a good base to stay while visiting the Welsh Borders.
You may wish to visit some of the many small market towns close; Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Builth Wells, Abergavenny and Monmouth in Wales and the English towns of Kington, Ludlow, Ross-on-Wye, and Leominster.
The City of Hereford with the Cathedral, the chained library, and the Mappa Mundi. The Brecon Beacons, the Black Mountains and Offas Dyke are close by.
There is a wealth of churches, and ruined castles, as well as Dore Abbey, Arthur's Stone and charming Black and White villages.
Plenty of outdoor activities to pursue - cycling, fishing, horse-riding, canoeing, golf, or walking, as well as numerous restaurants and village pubs.
